Brain farts and shower thoughts taken straight from my various notebooks.

  • The ode of love I would write to my locs, two years post big chop. "Baby I was wrong, it was me, I was the problem-not you. And i'm sooooryyyyyyy ❤️💇🏾‍♀️"

  • Your nursery teacher was your first number one fan. Let's face it, it wasn't our parents, lol.

  • Higher education teachers were our guardian angels. Uttering wisdom that would take years of experience to even comprehend.

  • What I'd say to Mr Miller 🪦❤️‍🩹 - Sir, I kinda understand why you did it, and even then that wouldn't come close to the peril or defeat that saw you through making a decision so final. Sir, did I cross your mind when your life flashed before your eyes? Was there a flicker of me somewhere amongst your memories?

  • Deja Vu is my favourite earthy phenomenon. Space time continuum? Pre destination? What's is all about? It's the closest I'll ever get to being a psychic I suppose.

  • Knowing someone so well. spending all that time together and then going back to being complete strangers.

  • I can't spell for shit!

  • The beauty in simplicity. My philosophy is that you are at your most beautiful when you are comfortable, and this goes for everything.

  • Something about packing your suitcase for a trip. Not knowing what to pack, the anxiety of the suitcase being overweight, and that fear being there no matter how light you pack. Why is it so hard to close even though I haven't bought anything new? 🤔

  • Non-domesticated woman pt2 - Following on and trying to define my worth as a modern day non-domesticated woman. Start off addressing the fact that the last article was left on a cliff hanger (not on purpose), but because I didn't have the answer, and still don't - but I've had more time to think about the subject . As an authentic writer and or story-teller, I'm not going to finish an article for entertainment value (lol, thats what a procrastinator would say). I'm writing from experience, that just so happens to be entertaining.

  • My biggest fear with this blog is writing something so offensive that I never get hired again. (But would that be entirely a bad thing?)
